About

Café Sia is a restaurant situated near the foot of the Red Cuillin Hills in Broadford on the Isle of Skye, offering local meat and seafood and delicious wood-fired dishes including pizzas.

Our Italian wood fired oven was made in Tuscany and is at the very heart of our kitchen. Our lunch and dinner menus are created from locally-sourced seasonal produce that highlights the very best of what the Isle of Skye's natural larder has to offer.

The local seafood has to be eaten to be believed and is shipped all round the world! Langoustines, crabs, lobsters and scallops, are all locally landed and brought fresh to our kitchen door. Cod, sea bass, halibut and trout to name but a few fish caught in the local waters and ending up on our plates!

Local venison, beef, pork and lamb, are amongst our meaty offerings from the surrounding area.

Edible flowers, foraged mushrooms and herbs are incorporated into dishes as they are in season.

In addition to our seasonal specials we offer a selection of traditional artisan pizzas. Home-made dough is rolled, topped with a simple tomato and garlic sauce, mozzarella cheese and then baked to perfection on the brick hearth of our traditional Italian made wood-fired oven.

Naturally coffee is a massive part of what we're about and local master roaster and barista Craig Steele sources and roasts his beans on site in the traditional artisan way.

Our roaster is in the Café itself and if you're lucky you may catch it roasting beans before grinding and extraction through our traditional 3 group lever machine turns them into fantastic coffee before your very eyes!

We also have an enviable selection of teas and Scottish beverages.
Our wine list is made up of purely 'real wines' either biodynamic or organic and are hand picked by our expert 'wino' Tom Eveling whose previous wine lists have won many awards including the prestigious Michelin Red Grape.
